Pursuing the handmade production without compromise, the whole process of creation from choosing the material to finishing is meticulously executed by the designer, which leaves traces of hand on each work, creating a delicate and effortless impression as well as intricate object-like appearance.

He continues to research and process various materials, and creates an object line that shapes images inspired by them. He is particularly fascinated by brass, and continues to create with an experimental approach, freely handling it with various techniques.

Drawing inspiration from his extensive research into various materials and shapes, Sakamoto approaches designing with an experimental attitude. Brass, in particular, has been constantly featured in his creation in which it's treated and finished numerous different ways to create a distinctive appearance.
